I have been in a mentally and physically abusive relationship now for over 2 years now. Ive cryed and prayed many nights about this situation. I have been wanting to get out but had no help finantially. Thanks to prayer and the helping-moms grant money and the support of my friends and family I will finally be able to move out at the begining of next month.
I am so happy to hear this I was in a similar situation, and it was hard for me to leave also. Just pack your things and get out of town. Best of luck to you and glad that we could help.
I am a young mother of 3, my sister recently passed and I took her 2 kids in also. It was a struggle already to raise my kids and I knew that it would be hard to take care of all of them together. But I didn’t want dem to go into foster care. WhenI got the helpingmoms grant for 2300 it really gave me the boost I needed to get things together. Thanx
Would like to thank helping-moms for finding me a sponsor in this time of need. This money came right on time 4 us. I was saddened that I was not able to get my children some of the things that they wanted 4 christmas and their birthsday. Also the girls have been growing out of their clothes so fast and I couldn’t get them any new clothes like they have been needing. But now i can thanks to the blessings above.
I just wanted to say thanks to the helping mom program. I had thought that I would not get the grant because it took them a long time to get back with me. About a month,buta well appreciated surprise. My family really neaded this we were on the virge of eviction. Now we are caught up on rent for a few months. Giving me the extra time that I needed to find work. I have been out of work for about an year. ''Please believe god does answer prayers'' A tru blessing. Stay strong out there things will get better.
i was literally living on a prayer....until i found this site.. .was out of work...behind on every bill imaginable-Final Notice after Final Notice...eviction was on a downward spiral
i had nevr struggled like this in my entire life. if it wasn't for my son. i would probably given up by now. sadly, i was contemplating suicidal thoughts. with nowhere to turn
i felt so depressed that i couldnt give my son all of the things he wanted and needed. my son would go to bed crying some nights from lack of food. i felt less than a mother
this service really helped me turn things around this grant gave me the extra motivation needed. i was able to use the extra cash to go outlooking for a new job.
iam now a full-time manager at a restaurant n taking care of my son without a struggle. this was such a great relief and blessing for us. thanks
Can someone please share with me an address or phone number for AssistMoms? I received an email announcing my acceptance for a grant yet am unable to contact anyone. Please help!
